Solution
Bulk Storage Facilities and Tank Farms
Bulk Storage Infrastructure for Refineries, Depots and Terminals.
Bulk storage capacity built to code and handed over complete. Foundations, tanks and vessels, bunding and containment, tank farm piping, firefighting, cathodic protection and electrical. Delivered from feasibility to commissioning as one scope. This is the storage core the other terminal solutions build around.

The Buyer’s Problem
Why this solution exists
Large-scale storage isn't just about space, it's about safety, throughput, and operational uptime. Without the right layout, pressure control, and flow systems, tank farms can become bottlenecks or safety risks.

What Bharat Delivers
One scope, end to end
Bulk storage capacity built to code and handed over complete. Foundations, tanks and vessels, bunding and containment, tank farm piping, firefighting, cathodic protection and electrical. Delivered from feasibility to commissioning as one scope. This is the storage core the other terminal solutions build around.
- Above-ground vertical and horizontal tanks (fixed & floating roof)
- Interconnected tank farm systems with firefighting, bunding, and drainage
- Piping, pumps, and SCADA systems for flow control and monitoring

Configurations
How it is commissioned
Refinery and depot tank farms
Off-site storage for refineries and product depots, sized to feedstock and product slate.
Terminal storage
The storage block inside an import, export or distribution terminal.
Standalone capacity expansion
Added tankage on an existing site, tied into the systems already in service.

FAQ
Common questions
Where does Bulk Storage end and Inland Storage and Distribution Terminals begin?+
Bulk Storage owns the storage core, refineries and depots. Inland Storage and Distribution Terminals owns the dispatch end, gantries, metering and access control. A tank farm with a loading gantry is commissioned under Inland Storage.
Can Bharat add tankage to a site it did not originally build?+
Yes. Standalone capacity expansion is one of the three configurations. New tanks are engineered to tie into the foundations, bunding, fire cover and electrical already in service.
Which products are covered under one scope?+
Foundations, tanks and vessels, tank farm piping, bunding and containment, automated firefighting, cathodic protection, electrical infrastructure and site infrastructure. Delivered to code and handed over complete.
What standards apply?+
API 650 for atmospheric tanks, API 620 for low-pressure and refrigerated duty, ASME VIII for pressure vessels, with PED, ISO 9001, OISD and NFPA applied as the project geography and duty require.
